Why not get a pipe?
I find there are some decent pipe tobaccos with cigar leaf mixed in, but I have yet to a decent cigar successfully incorporate pipe tobacco. Cigars need more moisture, so while cigar leaf might be ok when dryer than normal, pipe tobacco tends to be horrendous when smoke too moist.
Most cigars claiming to be made of actual pipe tobacco are gimmics or very poorly made. Black and mild comes mind rather quickly.
Don't get me wrong there are some decent flavored cigars on the market, but they are just that... flavored cigars.
I second the recommendations about getting a pipe...but if you're looking for these cigars specifically they were called John T's, and the ones in white tubes were called Crowd Pleasers. I've never tried them, but I do remember seeing them on the shelf.

I've had the pipe tobacco cigars, not that particular brand but they seem to be hit or miss with burn, flavor, and consistency. But sometimes you feel like a Pipe, sometimes you don't.
The John Ts were nice 20 years ago and not the street crap that is the black and milds...now reading the john t descript wtf is ecodorian connetticut wrapper...Sometimes I want a good smoke and dont want to carry a pipe and all the prep work that goes with a pipe..I am member of pipesmagaazine.com forums...
