What is Cigar Chronicles?
Well, let’s start with what we are not. We are not another cigar blog. (Does the planet really need another cigar blog anyway?) We are not an average cigar smoking hobbyist part-time endeavor. We are not the glossy “wish book” that might lead you to believe that in order to smoke cigars, you also need to own a $10,000 watch and have your own private Lear jet.
We’re something different, something real. We’re what’s been missing for real cigar smokers.
Cigar Chronicles is an Online Cigar Magazine with professional writers, journalists and tobacco men on staff. Cigar Chronicles is also a Cigar Social Networking Site where you can have your own profile page. You can also upload photos to your own photo album, send friend requests (just like Facebook) and post on your friend’s walls. Cigar Chronicles is also a Cigar Forum. Cigar Forums were the original virtual socializing platform for cigar smokers and they are still a great way to discuss topics in an organized fashion.
No B.S. Zone
The cigar consumer is more educated than ever about cigars and the different tobaccos that go into them. Therefore, we will not underestimate the sophistication of our audience at Cigar Chronicles. We will keep in mind both the experienced and beginner cigar smokers.
Professional, Yet Unpretentious
We have professional cigar reviewers on staff that are highly educated in tobacco and possessed of highly refined palates. There’s no promises that one of us might one day actually smoke a cigar that has an essence of Madagascar vanilla. However, we won’t talk down to you, or make you feel inferior just because a cigar tastes like a cigar to you. Hey, sometimes a cigar just tastes like a cigar to us too!
Let’s Get Social
When you JOIN Cigar Chronicles, you can have your own profile page where you can build a network of cigar friends, tell us about your favorite cigars, and which tobacconists & cigar lounges you like to hang out at. You can upload photos to your own album as well.
Be Entertained and Be Informed
Cigar Chronicles offers a steady stream of new, unique, high quality content in the form of professional articles and videos. In addition to professional reviews, we have consumer rating panels as well. We think cigars are great and that everyone should smoke them. We have articles for beginners to make it easier for more people to enjoy smoking cigars. We will advise which cigars offer the best bang for the buck, and we will also be sure to stay on top of the “super-premium” market as well. We will keep you up-to-date on the latest cigars and accessories, and introduce you to industry personalities from both the manufacturing and retailing sides of the business.
